Nuthatch

A nice surprise for a couple of days last week as this woodland species spent some time on my feeders. Its been three years since one last spent any time around the garden.

 



Prominents...... a fine selection

These 4 species were all caught in the garden this spring and summer. Everyone is a beauty.

Pale Prominent - Pterostoma palpina

 Iron Prominent - Notodonta dromedarius

Lesser Swallow Prominent - Phesia gnoma

Pebble Prominent - Notodonta ziczac
