I have seen numerous Little Owls in the UK and in Croatia, but a Tawny Owl only once. I was walking through a meadow adjacent to a small woodland on a visit to the UK and the crows were kicking up a tremendous racket and they drove the Tawny Owl out of a tree right in front of me.David M.
