    the grackles usually hang around our area in winter and eat TONS of seeds. so far, that flock moved on, but there'll be more...

    Cant' help smile at your banner...
    When we lived in SA (for16 years!)
    we saw many Ground hornbills of course, especially in the Kruger Park.
    But one day, as we were watching a few of these birds coming and going in the middle of the dirt road, a Rolls Royce shows up honking like crazy because we had stopped in front of them! We never knew why this guy was such in hurry in a national park driving a Rolls!!!
    A memory I will never forget ! LOL!
    Your egret is a delight, he is very busy; great pic!!
