Leveret

As far as I can remember this is my first sighting of a Leveret (a young hare). It was a lovely surprise to see it. For a very short while it was with one of its parents, and as the parent raced on and into cover the youngster  bounded away a short distance to some lovely grazing in good camera view.  I grabbed some photos and continued a marvellous morning by watching a pair of Peregrine Falcons close by......

  3. Wonderful shots - I think hares always have a touch of madness about them! And great shots of the water rail too!
