Little Owl - SW Turkey

Continuing the theme of Garden birds in my SW Turkey apartment. Here is (or rather are) a Little Owl or two. Images showing one actually on my apatrtment roof. The two on the gate together are just outside the apartment at the entrance to the Olive grove.

    It is such a delightful little bird. Brings back fond memories for me. It is a bird that seems quite willing to adapt to human altered lndscapes.

    I find owls to be so hard to find. So nice you can spot them right outside your apartment!

    I love Little Owls, they (like all owls) have such personality - but their size makes me smile.

    Turkey? Not bad - I walked from Europe to Asia and back on my 30th birthday in Turkey!
