Fridays Fence

Well, what a stunning sight.
Behind the fence is the famous white church at Nesseby, Varanger, Norway.

and in B&W

a little time away from sea watching to take this image

Showing it sat on the peninsula of Varangarfjord

  2. hi Dave. What a beautiful little church. I prefer the first shot as the B&W makes it too cold looking and uninviting. Love the architecture.

  3. I love the B&W version - the grey sky is more foreboding. I like also the long shot at the bottom.

  5. I wonder why there is a fence. What I liked at my visit to Norway was the absence of fences around houses. But this one suits with the church anyway.

  6. There is a small graveyard at the back, hence the reason for the fence.

  7. Beautiful looking little church. The B&W photo looks like a scene from a rather sombre Scandinavian movie.

Your first two shots are gorgeous. I think they would make a great pair of wall images. :)
