I am currently utilising my shift pattern to do a week of moth trapping so a few more posts than usual this week. The numbers and species still gradually increasing with the warmer weather, and a few more new species and a few welcomed returnees:

1 x Brindled Pug (I think.... it escaped before I was 100% or could get an image), probably in the partners wardrobe now eating her best dress)

An adventive species, which was first noted in the UK in 1908, and was probably imported with Australian plants. In recent years it has expanded its range rapidly northwards

Great set of moths - I often plan to do she "lamping" in my back garden, but it never happens.
